I used to use Tisserand Tea Tree Shampoo which was perfect for my highlighted dark blonde hair. But that’s been discontinued. Have tried Australian brands (made hair too dry) Avalon Organics (hair was brittle but lank) and now this Jason shampoo which I had high hopes for as a normalising shampoo. However after using it my hair felt lank and oily and the colour went dark. It was worse than trying to wash hair in conditioner. It didn’t smell that fresh either. I could feel the stickiness of it in the lather. And my hair which is normally thick lost so much volume my hair bands kept slipping off if I wanted to tie my hair up. Normally when I wash my hair it stays clean for 3 days and I only need to wash it twice a week. But with this my hair felt dirty in hours. Plus a lot of it has started coming out on the brush as it sticks rather than combs through smoothly.

I buy this regularly for my son – who gets allergy spots from using some other shampoos. So we went natural and this particular shampoo controls any flare up on his sensitive scalp and cleans his hair well.For me using it – with long thick hair – I find it quite drying and need lots of conditioner afterwards. But for him with very fine hair and a sensitive scalp this shampoo has been relieving and is a repeat buy for him.With no parabens and awful chemicals that fill big brand shampoos this particular brand is a thumbs up every time.

This is a really nice product smells nice and lathers well.Bought as I developed a rash on my scalp which was rather painful. This seemed to have cleared it up within a few weeks. Been using this for 5-6 months and at the start it was great but recently I have noticed my roots are getting oily quickly and yet my hair is becoming dry like stray. I don’t think this is the shampoo although many people have mentioned their hair becoming dry so I am going to change shampoos and see how my hair reacts then I might come back to this (especially if my scalp becomes red and sore again!).

This shampoo is amazing – smells gorgeous lathers up well great for soothing irritated itchy scalp skin.I was worried about my hair becoming dry and brittle due to daily use but oddly it’s never been softer 🙂 It gives you that squeaky clean hair with brilliant shine.Highly recommended I will buy again! X
