I found this perfume quite strong but not unpleasant and it does fade into a nice clean soapy smell with a slight woody tone. It has a sweetness to it almost like the Christmas Cookie candles you can get. It’s difficult to describe perfume and it’s a very personal choice so to give you an idea of what I like my preference is No 19 but I also like No 5 and Light Blue; this is nothing like any of those it’s not floral and it’s not musky all I can think of is a nice baking smell. Personally I’d be inclined just to spray this on the backs of my knees so that it wafts behind me as I’m walking I think it’s too strong to put on my wrists and behind my ears as well but I prefer subtle when it comes to perfume less is more for me. The fact that you only need a little makes it better value. It is nice and it comes nicely boxed and with the brand name as well I think it makes a good gift that the recipient will know that you’ve spent some money on.

Lacoste eau de Perfume!I can say Lacoste is my favourite brand when it comes to fragrances however I have not had this one in my collection so far :)The bottle is the classic one Lacoste has the design is a bit changed to slightly darker which is probably to match the scent of the perfume.I can smell fruity sandalwood and caramel not all at once. The first note that hits though is the fruity one.Although I am not too much into sweet perfume as the scent changes within seconds of applying I am fine with it .It is really strong and it seems to last well too .It comes in a small bottle which makes it great for travel purposes especially in a plane or just normal daily use as it can easily be carried on in the purse.Price wise I find it a bit too expensive for the little bottle .

Unless you are familiar with a scent it’s unwise to buy online based purely on the description. It’s no longer possible to sample scents in store (due to Covid restrictions). That said I am familiar with this one. It’s definitely a feminine young person’s scent with top notes of caramel and lily of the valley. There’s also rose musk and sandalwood lurking in the fragrance. It’s sweet summery and kind of ‘Moroccan’ exotic.It’s described by the makers: ‘Lacoste Pour Femme Intense is a concentration of femininity a cosmopolitan essence infused with that unique élégance à la française’.It then goes on to describe it as ‘A perfume that asserts a personality without arrogance combining softness with boldness and self-confidence with perfectly handled elegance.’ – if you can make any sense of that.It comes in a slender curved coppery bottle which fits nicely in a handbag or purse. The scent lasts a while on the skin as people comment on it several hours later. Good value for a smallish bottle.

Wilde’s Cabbage4.0:
Being an eau de parfum the scent is well lasting I still get hints of it around 4 or 5 hours later.Lacoste though arent known to specialise in perfumery we do wear their footwear which is hard wearing and non-markig for indoor sports.The scent itself is best described as sporty it’s not groundbreaking or unique such as Jo Malone or Thierry Mugler is. It’s more on a par with the likes of Davidoff or CK One its classical. It has a very apparent fruity base with hints of sandalwood. It’s more of a feminine scent.The bottle is thick and stout making it suitable to throw into the sports bag to use post-exercise.Is it up there with my favourites?No not even close. But a good post-workout standby than my kore fragile bottles that dont transport in a backpack well.4 stars

Lacoste has done it again. Gorgeous smell once again from one of my favourite brands.The bottle is beautiful and looks great on a shelf in our bathroom!The lovely notes of caramel bulgarian rose and sandalwood are divine and definitely were made to give off the confidence vibe.Only couple of squirts last a long time and you can top it up half way through the day to keep it going. For me this is a decisive perfume smell but not overpowering which I like. I am really impressed as it makes it a really good value for money. No it isn’t a cheap perfume to get but the quality of it justifies the price tag.Confident fresh smelling perfume in a gorgeous bottle you will get asked what you are wearing by nearly everyone. This was a fabulous present to myself.
