After reading a few of the other reviews even though I’m only 38 years old I must be an old lady because I really like this perfume. This has an amazing rose scent. Both my mom and I loved this perfume. If you like rose I think that you’ll really like this perfume. Honestly this is probably my favorite perfume ever. Then again this is also the most expensive perfume that I’ve ever tried.One bit of advice that I would offer is not to spray on too much. A little goes a long way. I normally spray a squirt on each wrist when using perfume but with this one small squirt is enough. I love that the scent lasts a long time. I would say that it lasts for pretty close to a whole day although by about 15-18 hours it has faded significantly. You definitely won’t want to put this on if you are going anywhere within the next 24-hours where someone has a sensitivity to smells.My biggest issue with this perfume is the price. While I really like the scent the price is more than I would pay for a perfume. I’ll definitely be saving this for special occasions so it will last longer. The good news though is that because a little goes a long way the bottle will last longer than it would with milder perfumes.My other bit of advice is to look at the price of all the options. For example the jar I got (1.7 oz) is currently priced at $102 but the 3.4 oz is $79.99. The biggest jar is definitely the best deal currently.

Chopard is such a premium brand. I know I am getting quality when I try one of their fragrances.The presentation as with all Chopard fragrances is simply beautiful. The fancy red bottle with gold accents is simply stunning. It looks like pure royalty sitting amongst my other perfume bottles. Seriously it’s like a celebrity with its sleek modern upscale vibe.I am not normally a fan of florals. Many of them cross over into “old lady perfume” territory for me. This perfume is DEFINITELY all about the floral! Whew! If you love the scent of rose you will love this! It’s ROSE all the way!!!! Rose rose and more rose! My mom’s favorite scent is… you guessed it ROSE! I couldn’t wait for her to try it after I sprayed it the first time. It immediately made me think of her.The fragrance is STRONG. Very very heavy. I would strongly recommend to try a small spritz first and see how it goes. I normally spray both wrists and sometimes even my clothing. I would NEVER do that with this fragrance! I would literally smell like a perfume store. It’s the kind of fragrance that will choke out the people around you if sprayed too much.With that being said a small amount is still VERY long lasting. I can spray this in the morning and still smell it at the end of my work day. If I wear a jacket and spray that I can still smell it on there the next day. So if you are looking for longevity and love rose scented products this is right up your alley!Needless to say my mom LOVED this scent! She couldn’t believe how well they captured the natural scent of wild roses.

Absolutely. Love. This. Fragrance. I have another very similar scent by Sawalef called Black Rose and it’s very very similar to this Chopard bottle here.Right away the glassy glossy sexy red bottle dripping in gilded trim is a perfect choice to introduce the eyes to the sensory experience waiting inside. The first notes are deep warm and richly rosy; florals that are more complex than a classic light rose petal. This is the young pink Rosie’s older more experienced sister Rosalinde – one who’s spent some time in exotic foreign lands had her share of dark and brooding lovers spent some time concentrating on herself.This is a rose decidedly more red than the blushing pink we know and anticipate. Where the classic rose scent is flirty this deeper rose fragrance is illicit. It’s unexpected dangerous sexy.I’m a big fan of rose in a lot of applications but at first I didn’t love this fragrance. I’m very very glad I’ve had some experience and education in fragrances however because I do know that what it smells like in the bottle is almost never exactly what it will smell like on you and it is almost never what you will smell of it 15 minutes or two hours later. A lot of fragrances mellow after their top notes disappear and this is one of those for sure. One to two spritzes is all you need for all-day scent but it will change and evolve throughout the day as fickle flowers often do.I’m overall super happy with this fragrance and it’s a mainstay of mine now for sure. Highly recommended.

I love the scent of roses and oriental perfumes are my favorites and smell good on me. This Chopard perfume comes in a beautiful heavy red glass bottle. At first when you spray it you smell roses not one but many roses but when this perfume dries down the base notes come through and you start smelling patchouli sandalwood cedarwood honey cocoa essence vanilla tonka bean & brown sugar. This ends being a very mellow and soft oriental scent that is feminine & warm. This is one of the first rose scented perfumes I’ve tried that actually smells like roses! The first whif after spraying it on is a very strong wild rose scent which is absolutely lovely. It settles down into a deeper more mysterious scent but still with a hint of sweetness. The staying power is pretty impressive! My 2 year old is obsessed with the pretty bottle and hauled it around the house all day yesterday sniffing it every few minutes and making my husband and myself smell it too and tell her how beautiful it was. She was obsessed! I discovered too late that she figured out how to spray it on herself. She was quite proud of how “Fancy” she was! Well today the clothes that she wore yesterday still smell super amazing and I could smell them from half way across the room! Not bad! I’ll have to keep it out of reach of children if I want it to last and not just make my toddler smell amazing.
