This is proving to be my life saver (or rather my makeup saver) for summer.This was recommended to me by a friend and at first I didn’t believe that this would do anything simply because I’m not a big fan of Benefit’s original Porefessional but this has been love at first wear.This product is very different in texture to the original Porefessional. It’s a gel texture and when applied to the face it looks clear even though it has a greenish blue hue on my hand.I apply this under my makeup and over my sunscreen and I either use my bare hands or a makeup brush. The pore blurring effect of this product is not as evident as the regular Porefessional but it does make my face a bit smoother in texture. The real power of this product is in its ability to keep my face from getting oily.I find that this product doubles the time in which my face goes oily with any given foundation. That is if I wear this with a BB Cream in summer that would usually have me looking oily in about 3 hours using this product as a base will extend my time looking matte and I might start to look oily in 6 hours. If I wear this with a longwearing matte foundation (like the Revlon ColorStay) I virtually don’t get oily all day.An occasion that really tested this product is a time when I didn’t have time to remove my makeup when I went to the gym and after a tough session (that usually has me sweating from my face) my makeup was fully intact and completely matte.So yes essentially I’m in love with this product and I would say that it is a must have.

This product is SO worth the hype and money. Works a treat and my make up ends up looking flawless when I’ve used this product.I apply it wait a couple of minutes then use my regular primer and foundation etc…couldn’t be happier with the results.I was a little apprehensive due to the price so this was a “considered” purchase for me but you only need a 5p sized amount for your whole face as it is a gel (water based) so the coverage is 100% for the little amount you use.The matte effect is beautiful and lasts ALL day underneath your normal makeup.I use a few different primers and this has worked perfectly alongside all of them.Use clean hands to apply wait a couple of minutes and carry on with your beauty regime.I also use this if its a day when I’m going to the gym and so don’t wear foundation it keeps my skin looking matte and non greasy for a loooooooong time. I suffer with oily/combo skin so its great for that type of skin.Equally my daughter who has dry skin uses it and it still looks amazing on her type of skinI can’t find a thing wrong with this product.I just pray they always make it because I’m in love with it 😍😍😍

You can use it as a primer for your makeup and your pores vanish…dunno how…hence the suspicion of the involvement of witchcraft. I even use it on lazy days when I don’t want to do full make up: using it almost like a day cream. Even without ANY other products it blurs pores and imperfections and leaves a lovely soft matt finish. Should they decide to do a Nobel Prize for cosmetics the inventor(s) of this magical elixir would be my vote for the inaugural presentation. Emma O

I am still waiting to see the benefits of what it’s meant to be doing or for? Complete waste of money do not buy! I purchased it after all the hype and being advertised as the best cream for all the proposes it’s supposed to produce and have experienced non of them every time I use it? Definitely not worth the money!

I do have oily skin however I did not find that this product helped in mattyfying my skin just as oily as before the product is nice in texture and feels nice and light on does give an instant Matt effect how for me it wore off straight away quite disappointing as I did expect more from the brand.
