Let’s start from the top of the product the cushion. It’s awful! I feel like I’d use a sanding paper not a lipstick! Before the gelly tint shows up on the tip it takes endless twisting of the bottom part of the pen. And then another dozens before the gel can actually be spread onto your lips. So after quite a long time of trying to calm down my frustration I just pull the cushion off the pen and used the tint spreading it on my lips with the finger. The colour is nice hence 2 stars. But the make of this product is absolutely rubbish. So save yourself an anger and buy something else instead.I’m very disappointed with this purchase. I really expected a better product from Revlon. Shame.

I like to think that after 35 years of wearing lipstick I know how to apply it but have to admit this one had me stumped and I ended up going online to see how it worked. It would have been nice to have had some instructions even if it is just directed you to a website as I was on the point of returning it I was becoming so frustrated.The actual way it works is that you turn the top part of the barrel of the lipstick several times to make the colour come out into the sponge tip (it will make a clicking noise as you turn it). Unfortunately it does take a while for the colour to come through at first and so because nothing seemed to be happening I turned it a lot by the time the colour did come through there was too much and it went everywhere. Not a good start!I have to say that although I did like the colour it was a bit on the bright side (possibly because there was too much of it) and although it slicked on easily enough it wasn’t that long before it seemed to dry out and my lips felt dry. Not sure if I will use it a lot but will use it again to see if it is any better now that the colour has come through.

I was surprised how moisturising this lip stain is. My lips are very dry but this does not dry them out anymore. I do put a further coat of lip moisturiser on top later on and the colour stays until I have eaten at lunch. The colour is just right too you can put more on to get a deeper colour or just a bit to give a hint of colour. I am impressed with this lip tint and will buy more. When you first open it you do have to turn and click it quite a few times to get the tint to come out. But then it comes out OK after that. Love it and use it every day.

This is my fav lip tint – it’s smooth and has coconut oil infused into it so it’s silky on lips. It’s a great color and lasts through the day! On repeat order!!!

It’s ok. Decent coverage but with a shimmery/glitter quality I didn’t expect or want. Would have just preferred a solid colour. It is smooth though and feels hydrating.
